One other interesting item about the game: RPI's final power play in the fourth
period featured a five forward attack, a la Maine, Michigan et. al. I don't
remember ever seeing Buddy employ this stategy before. Although I only
listened to the game :-( it seemed evident that Buddy had really done a
coaching job on the team, following the New Hampshire debacle. The power play
met with the most success of the season, if not the past two seasons. I would
have liked to have observed what the Engineers were doing with the man
advantage--point shot, doubleing down low, or whatever. It will be interesting
to see whether this new found weapon will again be utilized this weekend at the
Fieldhouse, where they remain winless!:-C
