The Michigan Daily quotes Botterill on the goal that was waved off,
"I saw the traffic in front of the net so I tried to wrist it
high. I wasn't at a good point to see it, but I think the
referee made a good call now. I think it hit the crossbar and
came out."
From where I sit, I agree with Glenn, however. It looked as if
it was in and then rolled out.
On Botterill's other actions -- remember that it was against
BGSU at the end of last year where Morrison's wrist was broken.
This does not justify a fight, but given Graff's, and crew's,
ineptitude and their not calling serious penalties, it is understandable
why he went after someone.
