To the CCHA league comissioner (and anyone else who knows the official answer):
Since Lake State and Michigan had the exact number of points to end up in a
regular season tie for first place, but LSSU won 2 of their 3 contests, giving
them the number one seed and automatic berth...my question is this:
For T-shirt, Sweatshirt, historical reference, and general bragging rights,
*are* UofM and LSSU "co-champions", or will LSSU print up everything, and be
known as 1996 Regular season champions? Now, of course, in Michigan fans eyes,
they are co-champions, but 10 years from now, who will be known as this years
regular season champion, two teams or one?
On hockey-l, one reference said UofM was stopped in their quest for 3 straight
league titles, another said they have won the league the last 3 years?????????
