The College Hockey Discussion List Poll for April 6, 1994:
Teams were given 15 points for a first-place vote, 14 for a second-place
vote, and so on down to 1 point for a fifteenth-place vote. Total first-
place votes are in parentheses.
Not surprisingly, NC$$ champion Lake Superior takes the top spot, with
Boston University settling into #2. There weren't many changes in the
remaining spots, although Northeastern moved up a couple and Northern
Michigan knocked Maine out of #15.

The Westerners seemed more convinced by Lake Superior's win over BU than the
Easterners were; all of BU's first-place votes came from the East, although
it was not enough to lift the Terriers to first place in the Eastern poll:

Someone suggested a comparison between the final HOCKEY-L poll and the pre-
season version, and here it is. Not bad -- the #1 preseason team won the
national championship, and #2 was the runner-up. Note that the * below
indicates that the team was one of the "Others receiving votes" for that
poll:

There were a number of "Others receiving votes" in the preseason poll that
are not listed above. They are: Minnesota-Duluth, Denver, St. Lawrence,
Boston College, Brown, Bowling Green, Cornell, Colgate, Alaska-Anchorage,
Ferris State, Dartmouth, North Dakota, Kent, and Providence.
This wraps up another season for the HOCKEY-L poll, and in my opinion it was
a rather successful one. I'd like to thank all of you who took the time to
send in your votes during the season (by my count, there were a total of 78
of you), and I hope we'll be able to keep this going next season.
