as an after thought to the question i posed.. In tech 6-2 loss to northern
saturday night the exact same thing happened except Northern was the victim
this time.  I have not seen it called in ages and the same ref called it on
the home team both nights (home and home) so I guess it evened out.  From the
tape i watched sunday of both games I could not say that the puck was inteniona
lly redirected in either case.
 
       With northern's victory sat they clinched the wcha title
 
         my apologies to all the gopher fans... but now you have the
         opportunity to play us again!   see ya in a couple weeks in Minn!
