The Clarkson Golden Knights stayed in the running for their second
straight ECAC title with a 4-2 win over Harvard at Potsdam's Cheel Arena
on Friday night.

Todd Marchant opened the scoing at 11:45 as the puck trickled across
the goal line through a crowd. The same thing led to Harvard's
first tally as Brian Farrell (nice name...almost) scored his 5th of the
year. Craig Conroy gave the Techers a 2-1 lead with a PPG late in the first.

Harvard's Flomenhoft tallied his 14th of the season on a PPG 8:09 into
the second. Ed Sabo scored the game winner for Clarkson about 8 minutes
later.

Both goalies, Harvard's Allain Roy and Clarkson's Jason Currie were
stellar both making key saves in the 3rd keeping the game at 3-2.
But Patrice Robitaille fired a puck into the empty Harvard net with 0:38 left
to seal the Knights' win.

Clarkson improves to 15-5-1 in ECAC (21-7-1 overall) while Harvard falls to
13-2-6 in league play (14-5-6 total). Clarkson climbs to within one
point of the Crimson with one game left to play. Clarkson will win the
ECAC title if:

CLARKSON BEATS BROWN AND HARVARD DOES NOT BEAT ST LAWRENCE.
CLARKSON TIES AND HARVARD LOSES TO ST LAWRENCE.

Does this mean I must chant, "l...", uh, "let's...", uh, "let's go SLU!"?!

Oh, all right, Let's Go SLU!

Apparently Clarkson goalie Chris Rogles is suffering from some sort of
illness. He missed last weekend's trip to Yale and Princeton so "Lamb"
Currie played in both those games. Rogles was dressed for tonight's game but
only took a few warmups.

Repeat after me: Let's go SLU, Let's go SLU,...
