I just saw something very interesting. I can check my credit card
balance on the Internet and was just doing so. Imagine my surprise when
I saw a temporary charge from "The city of St. Paul" for $254. (I don't
understand why charges appear first as temporary and then that label is
removed on the posting.). I thought "YES!" i got tickets. I should be
cautious because I did hear someone say yesterday at the dinner that the
NCAA's will take your money and then don't give you tickets but give you
a refund a year later. But that isn't the REAL surprising thing. There
was a permanent post on the statement. It was dated the same date and
was for the same amount. It is from Ticket Master of Los Angles.
Believe you me, the only charging I have done in the last week for that
amount is for the Frozen Four tickets for next year. Do we think my
application was accepted? Do we think it was accepted twice? I guess I
will keep close tabs on my credit card statement.

If I do have tickets for St. Paul I guess I should start saving vacation
money and vacation days. And those Skating Saints had better be sure to
recruit a real good goalie and forward, or four. We lost an awful lot
to graduation.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow. The TV stations are giving BC
some air time. Two even had a reporter standing outside the Pepsi Arena
giving a report today.
