In their time, Minnesota-Wisconsin and Cornell-BU were stratospheric -- no
hockey rivalry has been close for combining a lot of games, utter mutual
hatred, and national championships being on the line whenever the teams
matched up.
 
Currently, Clarkson-SLU, Cornell-Harvard, and BU-BC are the strongest in the
east for combining tradition and excitement.  From the west, I dunno nuthin'
