A lot of people have said that one of the reasons hockey-l is declining is
b/c people who used to post game reports are not any more, either because
of graduation or personal reasons. There is nothing wrong with that, but
other people have to pick up the slack, myself included. In the past, I
have relied on John H. for Michigan games summaries, and they were
excellent. I followed my favorite team through John H. Now, I haven't
seen his posts recently. I'm now a freshman at Michigan, and I feel a
responsibility to give something back to the list that gave so much to me
about my favorite sport. I picked up my hockey season tix today (well,
half-season, i'm only a freshman and that's the best i could get), so
starting this weekend, I'll be posting game summaries and reviews for all
the games I can go to (insert grovel: anyone have an extra ticket or two
for Fridays Mich/Ohio State game?). I urge others who haven't posted
summaries in the past to do so to. It will only make the list better for
everyone.
