Word has been floating around this area for about a week that former U
of Maine forward Jean-Yves Roy will join Team Canada soon.
 
Now several local TV stations and the Bangor Daily News have reported he
will report next Monday.  Jean-Yves has been among the league leaders in
goal scoring this year for the AHL Binghamton (NY) Rangers.  The 5' 10",
180 pounder is elated over the chance to play for his country and then
perhaps to move up to the NHL, his long-time dream.
