and their coach, Ric Shafer, is a class act who had done an
outstanding job of upgrading the quality of the hockey program
there.  I'll note not entirely tongue in chek that there must be
something in the water up in Fairbanks as both ric and don lucia (now
at CC) have accomplished good turnarounds in their programs since
coming down from fairbanks.
