There's been considerable discussion about the Ferrarro's and whether a student
must (or should) be registered full time to be eligible for sports.

What about schools with trimesters? Wouldn't it be possible for a student to
not be registered for classes for the term during which he/she is participating
in a sport? Could the Ferrarro's not register this term, play hockey, and
then register for summer term. This would allow them to maintain the necessary
academic standards for NCAA eligibility.

Would cooperative school/work programs such as Northeastern's create special
circumstances as well? Just wondering!
