Well, the game is over, and BU pulled out a 2-1 victory over Brown. While I
did not attend the game...I listened to it, while I toiled away at my studies.
Anyways...BU pulled up 2-0, and then the Bears ame out in the third period on
fire...and finally got one in the net. After that goal, the Terriers pulled
back and played a defensive game...shutting out the Bears from getting the tie.
From what I heard, Brown owes a great deal to goalie Geoff Finch for keeping th
em in the game...I shudder to think of our team without him. There were
something like 23 penalties in the first two periods as well...can't remember
the name of the ref, but the radio announcers were all over him. Well, we lost
to the #2 in the country by one goal...not bad, if you ask me. We could have
won though. i hope somone writes out a more-detailed description, seeing as how
 mine is quite limited.
On an aside...anyone outthere read the NYTimes? The section on College
Hockey mentioned that the Brown Bears advanced to the NCAA Final Four last
year! As many know, Brown lost to UMD in the first round (7-3 ???). Maybe
this year we'll go to the semis, according to the NYT at least. ;)
2-1 loss to BU..not bad. Hopefully, we'll hold true to our second-half
success and get to the NCAA's again this year.
