The Penn State Icers opened their 1993-94 campaign Friday night with a 7-0
shutout of the Duquesne Dukes. The Icers completely dominated the game,
outshooting the Dukes 67-16. Sophomore Jeff Crispino recorded his first career
victory as an Icer, playing the first period and stopping Duquesne's only shot
in the period. Dennis Magulick stopped four shots in the second, while Derek
Lecours played the third period for Penn State, stopping all 11 shots he faced.
Duquesne's Todd Heuselder made 60 saves, including 24 in the second period.
The Icers are now 1-0-0, and have won 34 of their last 35 games. Duquesne falls
to 1-3-1.

I apologize for the lack of details about the game...if I can find more, I will
post them (all details taken from the Oct. 23, 1993 edition of the _Centre
Daily Times_)
