Bill Fenwick already posted the order, but didn't have the point
totals and first place votes. However, today's Watertown daily
times does. Teams were given 12 points for a first place vote
down to 1 for a twelfth place vote. First place votes are in
parentheses.

1. RPI (9) 141
2. Clarkson (2) 127
     Harvard (1) 127
4. St. Lawrence 104
5. Brown 85
6. Dartmouth 74
7. Colgate 71
8. Yale 55
9. Vermont 54
10. Princeton 43
11. Cornell 38
12. Union 16

Astute observers will notice that the point totals fall one short of
what the total should actually be. The paper also pointed out that
RPI, Clarkson, and Harvard, were, in one order or another, the top
three on every ballot. If this were the case, the point totals for
the top three should be (12+11+10)*12 = 396. But the reported totals
only add to 395, so one of these three is a point shy. It wouldn't much
matter if it was RPI, but one extra point would break the tie between
Harvard and Clarkson. Very interesting....
