Isn't (former North Star) Jon Casey with the Bruins, too?  He played for the
North Dakota Fighting Sioux.
 
Also, in "Gopher Hockey by the Hockey Gopher"  former Gopher Pete Hankinson
relates how his minor league team would scrimmage former college players vs.
former junior players, so this would indicate roughly equal numbers of each.
(He said that after scoring a goal, they'd chant "Don't be a fool, stay in
school!", often provoking a fight.)
