From USA Today on FreeNet:
INDIAN NICKNAME WON'T GET GAMES:
Big Ten schools Wisconsin and Minnesota are taking a stand
against the use of Native American sports team nicknames by not
playing most schools with the monickers. Their reason: A wish not
to offend anyone. Minnesota won't play home games vs. non-league
schools with the Indian mascots. Wisconsin won't play
non-conference home or road except against rival Marquette
(Warriors).
Does this impact the hockey program?
