I didn't see this news posted yet, so I will:
 
The 1994 NCAA East Regionals have been awarded to Albany's
Knickerbocker Arena, according to Tuesday's Schenectady Gazette.  The
Knick lost its bid for the ECAC Championships to Lake Placid recently.
That's all the details I have right now, I don't have the article with
me.  Maybe someone else can fill in the details.
