Once again, david is right on.

that was partly a guess on my part.  Clearly (and this was confirmed
by ned bunyan thursday afternoon) there could be no CCHA nor Hockey
East officials at either game.  The NC$$ can save money by bringing in
2 sets of officials instead of 3.  I speculated that the saturday
officials were chosen on the basis of better performance on thursday.
so....   The tongue in cheek comment was that we could thank Ricci's
not doing so well thursday night for the ECAC officials on saturday.
