   This goal was as much a product of preparation as it was
   determination and a great pass from Kariya ...  Jim Montgomery said
   after the game that they had noticed a tendancy of LSSU to allow the
   puck carrier room to skate in an opponent power play situation ...
   Jimmy carried the puck up ice and just over the red line fed Paul on
   the left wing ...  Paul had just talked on the bench with assistant
   Coach Red Gendron about keeping his legs moving along the boards in
   order to beat the D wide ...  and he did!

   Jeff Jackson and LSSU were sooooo close.  Maine fans did not have a
   particularly fun time during the last several minutes of the second
   period :-)
