Quick (and I mean QUICK) summary:
(I'll post thoughts and BU-Maine box later)
UNH couldn't capitalize on a 6 x 4 advantage in the final minutes despite
some fantastic chances. Jack Parker said afterwards that the team did what
they had to do the first 50 minutes and Herlofsky did what he had to do the
last 10 mins. of the game.
Brett Abel did a superb job in NH nets, despite lackluster BU goals.
Derek Herlofsky notched his 2nd consecutive shutout of the Wildcats (1st was
Feb 5. had 18 saves in 4-0 BU win). Herlofsky now has 127:59 of shutout
hockey going against UNH, dating back to last season.
Sorry I didn't get these on earlier. As you might expect, it's been a hectic
weekend, to say the least. Friday I was at the Garden from 5 pm till 12 am,
last night from 4:00 pm till 1 am.
And the fun continues next weekend in Worcester...
