At the Ice Rink this evening, Michigan State defeated Ohio State by a score of
8-2.  OSU managed only 14 shots on MSU golaie Mike Buzak.  MSU put 33 shots on
OSU's net, chasing Tom Askey after the first period by scoring four of their
eight in the opening stanza.  Steve Suk had 1 goal and 2 assists for MSU.  Tim
Green and Steve Richards scored for the Buckeyes.  OSU was outshot this weekend
73-36, and should consider the tie against Western Michigan fortunate.
 
BTW thanks to a very large MSU contingent, it was a standing room only crowd
this evening.
