the address of my response to his note; second it was easier to respond
to his note than to create a separate message).

I personally don't have much enthusiasm for an all-star game.  I guess
it is a money-maker for the promoters, but not much more than a
showcase (in a bad sense) for the players to my way of thinking.  There
is little time for preparing for team play ... I'm forbidden from
mentioning the team (not Div I or II or III or Club) but there is a
current one that is overburdened with "stars" all trying to do their
own thing, or complaining because someone else is getting all the
playing time ... ah well ...
