Quick notes

- Three Badgers will be on the US Junior team.  They are Brian
Rafalski and Mark Strobel, both sophomore defensemen, and freshman
goaltender Jim Carey.
 
- Dan Plante will play for the US Select team that will play matches
against teams from Canada and Russia from Dec 18-20.
 
-The Badgers split the weekend series with North Dakota.  Friday ND
nipped the Badgers 3-2.  Greg Johnson had a hand in all three ND
goals and looked great.  Saturday it was all Wisconsin as they beat
ND 10-2.  Mark Strobel was switched from defenseman to winger before
the weekend and he responded with 2 goals.  Dan Plante also had 2
goals for UW.
