This weekend continued the sour season for the Tigers and productive scoring
for St. Cloud's Knipscheer. He had at least 3 goals (possibly 4 I missed
part of the third) and several assists. If this is not the player of the week
for the WCHA at least Gretzky must be in the league.
The first game St. Cloud had won five to two in a game that the Tigers
out shot St. Cloud, but nothing would go in for Colorado College. There was
a goal which the judge did not turn the light on that really mellowed the
crowd and the Tigers play. St. Cloud just kept scoring.
Saves for St. Cloud = 33 (Sjerven)
Saves for CC = 26 (Frank)
The second game was a rout. Three goals in each period.Knipscheer
scored three or four goals here to show he should be mentioned in the like
of Angelo Ricci. CC pulled Badalich in the second period after it was 5-2.
The only highlight really (sense St. Cloud scored every couple of minutes) was
a 50 second fight which almost cleared the benches.
Saves for St. Cloud = 39 (Sjerven)
        Saves for CC = 34 (Badalich&Frank)
