Clarkson visited RPI's Houston Fieldhouse to battle the Engineers.
 
At 10:10 of the 1st period, Al Kummu opened up the scoring as his
blast beat Clarkson goalie Chris Rogles. Steve Palmer tied it up
for Clarkson and Todd Marchant gave the Knights a 2-1. Later in
the 2nd, RPI's Xavier Majic scored a shorthanded goal to tie the
score. Then Kelly Askew gave the Engineers a 3-2 lead into the 2nd
intermission. In the third, Clarkson winger Marko Tuomainen fired a blast
past RPI goalie Neil Little. But 11:01 into the third, Jeff Gabrield
scored the game winning goal past Rogles sealing the 4-3 win. Little
called on the post a few times in the third but played excellent all
night especially in making 18 saves in the second.

Clarkson lost yet another close game.
