Some notes on the 2 CCHA games not covered so far:

Kent 5 LSSU 5 ot
Rob Valicevic scored with 38 seconds left to force a tie with the
visiting Golden Flashes. LSSU had pulled their goalie Adam Thompson at
the 18:40 mark for the extra attacker. Blaine Lacher started in net for
the Lakers but was yanked after letting in 4 (15 saves). Dean
Sylvester tallied twice for Kent. Scott Shaw made 27 saves.

BGSU 5 Miami 7
The Redksins' balance showed, as 7 different players scored goals.
Miami led all the way, even opening up a 4-goal margin early in the
third. Richard Shulmistra made a mere 11 saves, stopping 1 of 3 in the
middle stanza for MU. BG was paced again by Brian Holzinger (3g, 1a).
Will Clarke saved 28 for BG. The fans are getting pumped up in
Oxford--there were 3050 of them in attendance last night, 6th-largest
ever.
