After taking a 2-0 lead early in the first period the Badgers fell
asleep and lost to the Fighting Sioux of North Dakota 3-2. The
nations leading scorer, Greg Johnson had a goal and 2 assists in
helping ND to a 4-7 record in the WCHA. Wisconsin fell to 7-5-1.

Notes:

The Badgers are really struggling right now, suffering their third
loss in a row. Wisconsin has the guns to be a really good team, but
have not been able to find the right line combinations. Their play
seems to be lacking flow and enthusiam. Hopefully they will be able
to turn things around quickly as they cannot suffer many more losses
if they hope to contend for the WCHA title.
