Couldn't last forever...  After running off 8 straight wins to start the
season, the Canisius Ice Griffs lost to host Holy Cross at the HC Invitational,
6-5.  No box score available (I'm taking this out of the local paper), but it
obviously wasn't a defensive battle:  shots on goal were 43 for Holy Cross, 42
for the Griffins!  The HC Crusaders evened their record at 2-2.
 
Canisius was to play Army today (3:00 face off); the Cadets lost yesterday to
UConn, 4-2.
