I forgot to post this before Ieft last weekend, so I don't remember if it's
from the Thursday or Friday (11/19 or 11/20) Star Tribune:
 
The Gophers finished early-signing time with four recruits signed, after adding
Hill-Murray forward Brent Godbout.  Others include Bloomington Jefferson
forward Nick Checco and Vulcans skaters John Hillman and Dan Hendrickson.
Hillman's older brother, Jim, is a Gophers freshman, while Hendrickson's
older brother, Darby, is a sophomore.  Godbout has a younger brother -
defenseman Jason - who will be next season's No. 1 prospect.

It's a little worrisome that they're all forwards, when the troublesome spot on
the team this year is the defense, but of course, the current team has a lot
of young defenders who will hopefully develop.
 
Hendrickson is skipping his senior year at Richfield and Hillman his senior
year at Blaine to play juniors with the St.Paul Vulcans in the USHL.  Godbout's
brother Jason has been tagged as one of the top players in the state since he
was a sophomore (maybe even as a freshman), so hopefully this gives the
Gophers an edge in landing him for next year!
