I just want to add a few comments about the Princeton-Harvard game.
I drove up to Princeton this past weekend to visit friends and there
just happened to be a couple of hockey games being played :-)

I thought Princeton played very well against Harvard. There was some
hard hitting and a lot of pushing and shoving after the whistle, but
it was a fun game to watch. The biggest difference between the two
teams was the power-play. Harvard's power-play was crisp, controlling
the play and setting up some good shots. Conversely, Princeton's
power-play looked chippy, had problems setting up and never really got
going. Harvard had a number of chances and even scored once while
short-handed.

It was a shame for the game to be decided by two last minute power-play
goals. The roughing call with :58 left in regulation was
questionable. There was pushing and shoving after the whistle again,
but this time Princeton was left short-handed. Perhaps the ref saw
something I didn't which is quite possible because I was sitting at the
opposite end of the ice. The elbowing call with 1:28 left in OT was
more deserved. It was another hard check, but this time the elbow
came up just a little too high and was caught by the officials.
Harvard's power-play clicked again to win the game.

The next night Princeton looked tired allowing Brown to almost score at
will. The band was not there and the Brown contingent was louder than
the Princeton fans. I overheard one student commenting on the Harvard
game: "Harvard must not be that good this year. We almost beat them."
