I was at a few of the AWHCA meetings and some of the heated debate
which came from those 3 teams included their inablity to compete for quality
players with the division I teams and the disparity in skill level between
Division III and the upper echelon Division I Womens teams.  They simply
wished to remain at a Division III level with regard to academics and sports.
Unfortunately, there aren't enough teams for that type of league, but
maybe in the future there will be.
