The WCHA league leading MTU Huskies Moved into sole possion of the WCHA
 (pending outcome of Denver, St Cloud game, St Cloud up 3-1 in 3rd) with a
  6-5 win over North Dakota in Grand Forks.
 
   The huskies came out flying in the first   taking a 3-0 lead into the locker
   room.

   North Dakota returned the Favor in the second, going to the locker room 3-3

   The 3rd period was see-saw with The Huskies never giving up the lead.

  The Huskies are now 3-0  with 6 points in the WCHA.
    Jamie Ram was tough again in the 3rd period making 15 saves.
 
    6 goals is the highest total for the HUskies in Grand Forks since nov 1977
     This was the first Huskie win IN Grand Forks since 87-66 season.
 
    The huskies open the season at 3-0 for the first time since 80-81 season!
 
   News for northern fans,  while listening to the huskies, I watched the Red
    wings, and saw Dallas Drake score 2 and assist on another goal in the 3rd
     period of Detroit's 7-1 win tonight!
