Well, the Oct. 23 issue of The Hockey News says that UAF will be seeded
12th automatically.  I think you're thinking of UAA's seed in the WCHA
playoffs.
 
Also, THN is once again picking Clarkson to win the ECAC.  This is the third
year in a row they've done this, and it's come down to the wire the past two
seasons, with Clarkson winning in '91 and tying for second in '92.
