CORNELL - Add the Ann Arbor News to the list of papers running a photo
of the Big Red in their tutus. It was so funny, I clipped it out and
taped it to my office door. On the serious side, I hope that the event
was a success in raising money for the local hospice.

MICHIGAN 17 - Not that it helped them last season, but I believe
Michigan leads the nation in NHL draft picks for the second year in a
row. The Wolverines have 17 on their 1992-93 roster. Does anyone have
info on the numbers from conferences other than the CCHA? Does any team
(Maine or Minnesota, perhaps) have more than 17 draftees?

CCHA 2/2 - Add me to the confused list. From the hearsay that I've
received, the 2/2 system will be used tomorrow for the Michigan/Notre
Dame non-conference game and in several exhibition games (including one
this evening), but will not be used during the CCHA regular season.

  FACE-OFF FOR 1992-93 - As the 1992-93 gets underway tonight, I'd
like to wish all Hockey-L'ers and their teams the best of luck this
season. Going into this weekend, everyone is undefeated! I hope
to see you all in Milwaukee in April.
