Some of you Cornell Alumni may be interested in hearing how they are handling
student ticket sales, after last year's debacle. Today they printed the
procedure in the Cornell Daily Sun. Students have to show their ID and sign
up, up to #850 to be assured of participating in the sale. #851-1000 may luck
out, and get tickets next week. Periodic line checks will be conducted, with
them always telling you when the next one is. Friday night the lucky 850 have
to come into Lynah to get their sale numbers (there are three sales, based on
matriculation date) and stay overnight, with the sale Saturday morning.
Yours truly isn't up there getting her name on the list because my best friend
from high school will probably be swinging through Ithaca Friday night, and if
I don't see her now, I probably won't see her for several months. Of course,
if my boyfriend gets tickets, I'll be able to tell him that's the only reason
I go out with him ;-)!!!
