Sunday's St. Paul paper (I believe it was Charley Walters' column) suggested
that we should not be surprised to hear that Gopher Assistant Mark Mazzoleni
is a candidate for the head coaching position at MIchigan Tech.
Walters is St. Paul's answer to Sid Hartman's sports gossip column, and the
item was worded in that "don't be surprised" sense, so I'd say this is not
much beyond the rumor stage.  Anything similar being heard elsewhere?
