For you HOCKEY-L'ers in the Midwest wondering what a Canisius Griffin is:
the Ice Griffs are a Div. I team which plays a largely Div. III schedule.
They are eligible for the ECAC small college championship, but not the
Div. III championship (folks in Plattsburgh and Elmira may breathe a sigh
of relief ;)  ).
