I pulled the following news off of rec.sport.hockey. The USA team is
made up of over-20 college players according to the local newspaper
reports. These players are leading candidates for the 1994 team(unless
the NHL releases a full load of pro players for those Olympics).
Jason Zent and Barry Richter of Wisconsin are on the team. Does anyone
know the full roster?

Greetings from Finland !
The traditional international hockey tournament Tampere Cup
will be played here in Tampere, Finland during August 20 to 23.
Tampere Cup is one of the prominent international hockey tournaments
of today. Top-ranking teams from all over the world are willing to
participate in large numbers than could be expexted. This year
there are eight top-ranking teams including Olympic teams from USA
and France, Russian champions and strong domestic and Swedish teams.
Tampere Cup officially opens the season in Tampere. Ilves and Tappara
will introduce their new teams to the public for the first time this fall.
The teams play a simple series in two divisions (A and B).
Ranging is determined by the principle applied in the
elimination round of the A pool in World Championships.
The finals will be played on Sunday, August 23.
