Has anyone ever written a book about the rise of hockey in the Soviet
Union?  How they went from nothing to being one of the dominant teams in
international hockey.  It would make very interesting reading, and
would be an ideal subject for some nouveau-capitalist ex-CCCP star.
Maybe someone like Vladislav Tretiak...?
