Tom Anastos, Michigan State assistant coach and former
UM-Dearborn head coach, has resigned to concentrate on
his private business enterprises.
 
Billy Powers, Illinois-Chicago assistant, has taken a
similar position at his alma mater, Michigan.
 
Officially, there are now 3 assistant job openings
in the CCHA (BG is the third).
 
Justin Doherty, assistant sports information director
at Northern Michigan and frequent HOCKEY-L submitter,
has taken a position at North Dakota as the director
of sports information. Congrats to Justin!
 
Frank Anzalone, currently unemployed but head coach at
Lake Superior in 1988 when they won the NCAA title, has
supposedly applied for the assistant coaching job at
NMU. I have not been able to find any evidence that
the last two topics are related. (^;
