Following the CCHA stuff I stuck in the NCAA bracket again.  I'll fill it
in and repost after I know, in the meantime the guessing and arguing about
who didn
't make it and why they should have been seeded high can commence as soon
as you hear who was selected and see what they have to face.
 
As you see in the CCHA bracket, Michigan won over Miami and Lake Superior
took out Michigan State.
 
In the first game, Miami scored at 0:31 and Michigan at 0:41.  So much for
the excitement in that game - Oh! one spectator got taken out by a puck
and a second one by a broken pane of glass; otherwise ...
Michigan scored sometime in the middle of the first period which ended at
2-1, the second period finished at 4-2 and it was 6-2 when it was over.
Shots were about 31 for Mich and 22 for Miami.
 
In the second, Lake Superior scored first, then MSU for 1-1 at the end of
1 with 9 shots apiece.  MSU scored first in the second period, then Lake
Superior twice to make it 3-2 w/ LSSU ahead on shots 19-16 (up to that
point in the game.  The last period, LSSU scored first to get to 4-2,
then MSU made it 4-3 and LSSU got an empty netter for the final 5=3
score and MSU ahead on shots for the game at 26-25.
