Brown defeated Princeton friday night by a score of 8 - 4. Brown moves
to 7-5-3 in the ECAC, and the Tigers fall to 5-10.

This had to be one of the strangest games I've ever seen. In the second
period there were 10 minor penalties, 3 double minors, and 2 five minutes
major penalties called for a total of 42 penalty minutes! In one period!
There were two fights in the period which resulted in most of the penalties.
There were only seven minor penalties in the first and third periods
combined. To top it all off, some idiot threw a Roman Candle on to
the ice seconds before the start of the third period, thus delaying the
start of the period by several minutes while the Zamboni re-did the section
of Ice where it landed. Not a good night for College Hockey at Baker Rink.

The game started off with Princeton scoring 2 quick goals, but then the
Brown defense settled down and shutdown the Tigers. Princeton scored
another goal during one of the three-on-threes in the second, and got
their fourth goal in the closing minutes of the game. Brown goalie
Brett Haywood played a solid game. The Tiger defense could not adjust
to Brown's swarming style, and allowed Brown many easy goals. Brown
scored 5 times in the second, putting the game out of reach.
