For the sake of Union fans and the ECAC, I hope not. Also, think of how great
it would be to have a heated Capital District rivalry like the one in the
North Country.
Speaking of which, SLU suffers from some of the "lesser" exposure you talk
about. Clarkson, with a dominant record vs. SLU all-time and more all-around
success, often gets front page coverage, even after they lose and SLU wins.
It's been a bit different this season (for obvious reasons), but not much.
Also, like Union, Clarkson has only one D-1 sport, but, unlike Union, there is
clearly a MAJOR committment to the program. To that end, any truth to the "new
arena for Union" stories?
