Andy Kranz, an outstanding forward on the Bloomington Jefferson hockey
team, made an unofficial visit to Minnesota this week.
 
Former Gophers player and assistant coach John Perpich, who has been in
the Los Angeles Kings organization for the past four years, is going to
join Craig Hartsburg with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks as a pro scout or
assistant coach.
