Carol - Yep, as I noted in my earlier message, there's a general
supportive atmosphere in Marquette re MTU hockey.  Cheers occur with
ALL good news (which isn't at the expense of NMU!).  Of course, the
cheers are loudest when MTU good fortune is at the expense of the
Wildcats' closest competitors in the WCHA race, so . . . it's a
compliment to the Gophers and the Badgers that they would elicit such
a response (should Tech in fact have some luck against them at some
point--the Huskies certainly have against us, darn it!).
 
As a Tech supporter noted, the U.P. folks stick together real well
when not in direct competition with one another, which I find quite
refreshing!  (This includes Lake Superior State as well as NMU & MTU,
according to my source.)
