We are left with two possibilities after reading this:
 
1) Croce is getting a rise out of knowing that his measly column is sparking
  discussion here on hockey-l.
2) Our attempts at giving him the benefit of the doubt and assuming that
  he was indeed a reasonable man who just didn't understand, were all for not.
 
Let's ignore this guy and maybe he'll go away.  I'm thinking about ignoring
him until next November when RPI visits Merrimack and he has to listen to me.
Clearly by Keith's recent mail, sending the guy letters or phoning him won't
do any good.  Some people want to remain ignorant.  Unfortunately, some people
also show it in front of 100,000 other people.

PS "It's really a trivial topic"?  This is the same guy who seemed so upset
  that TCHCR had his #1 team, Maine, down at #6.  A case of the pot calling
  the kettle black.
PPS I thought of letting him know that this discussion hasn't been confined to
  some "computer network" away where the general public can't find out about
  it (as he likely thinks), that it's also been broadcast across the airwaves
  in eastern Mass. (courtesy of myself), but hell, I think I'll get on with
  my real life.  Or maybe I'll just send him a tape of the show.
