I know that it is not proper netiquette to make an issue of spelling.
It is just that this has been bugging me for a year since I first saw it
posted on the message board in Cincinnati.  I see it over and over on
this list and even on the WCHA's home page.
 
The correct spelling is W-O-R-C-E-S-T-E-R.  There is no H in Worcester.
It is pronounced in New Englandese "Woostah."  And yes, it is the second
largest city in the six state region.
 
All this from a guy who has never lived in central Mass.  My apologies
for the waste of band width.  Now back to our regularly scheduled
program.
