Martin Begin asks about Jacques Auger ...
 
Jacques Auger is playing here at Wisconsin.  He has not had a lot
of ice time so far this year.  The Badgers have four experienced
defensemen who get the majority of the ice time.  Auger will
probably play more as the season progresses.  He has good size and
doesn't make many freshman mistakes.  I don't think he has any
goals or assists so far but he does have a few penalty minutes :-).
 
The Badgers are in a rebuilding year after last year's championship
season.  Nine freshmen were brought in on scholarship this year
(one has already left school due to lack of playing time).  Some of these
freshmen, such as Jason Zent, Dan Plante, and Auger, will help this
season but a lot more is hoped for in the years to come.
