WHAT IF -- Should there be a four-way tie for the league championship at 46
points (Michigan State tie and lose; Lake Superior wins twice; Michigan wins
twice; and Western Michigan garners five of six points in their series at
UAF), Lake Superior would be the number one seed for the league tournament
based on a 5-3-1 mark against the other three teams. MSU, WMU and Michigan
would each be 3-3-0 in league games against the other two teams, forcing the
next tie-breaker goal differential (in the six league games) to be the
deciding factor. Currently, Western Michigan is +11, Michigan is -3 and
Michigan State is -8.
